Most of our sitters are recommended by current artist babysitting members. We also accept recommendations from our parents and other respected community members. We are always on the lookout for artists interested in creative outlets specifically focused on children’s artistic exploration. In order for them to become a member we require references, a completed background check and a certificate showing completion of infant and child CPR.

All of our Sitters are ARTISTS! They are Infant & Child CPR certified, childcare reference checked, and receive an FBI NCIC background check. All of our sitters are committed to the agency and must maintain a level 10 ranking in responsibility and communication.

Booking Sitters should always be done through the agency. We go through this in detail with you during our registration process to make booking as easy as possible. In addition to calling or emailing whenever you need someone, we offer an online booking tool and an option to receive weekly email reminders! We always send you a confirmation for your bookings and record them in your Artist Babysitting account’s calendar.

There is a booking fee based on how often you use our service, and Sitters charge an hourly rate depending on their experience and the number of children in your family. Contact us or visit the booking fees pages for more details!

Yes! If you found someone that you really enjoy we will do everything we can to make sure that you receive that sitter as often as possible. We don’t want you to feel like you’re experiencing a revolving door of Sitters. Your scheduling needs and how far in advance you book are determining factors in how many Sitters we will potentially introduce. You will have the possibility to meet the Sitter ahead of time as well through a free 20 minute meeting, a phone or skype call, or a single booking with our 3-hour minimum. You will ALWAYS see a detailed profile about the Sitter before a Sitter is confirmed!

You will pay your babysitter directly at the end of the allotted time. Please pay your sitter in cash or by using a cash app. Our sitters hourly rate starts at $25.00 per hour. Our sitters require a 3-hour minimum per booking and require a 24-hour cancellation notice. After 11:00 PM, you are required to pay the full cab fare to the sitter’s home to keep our sitters safe.

Booking Fees: The booking fee is determined on how often you are using our service. Our booking fees start at $25 per booking and we offer packages to help you save money on each booking. We go over these fees during your registration to answer any questions and our staff can help you determine the best booking fee purchase based on your needs. The booking fees are charged to your credit card within your personal Artist Babysitting account.

Our Sitters’ Hourly Rate: Hourly rates start as low as $25 per hour for up to 2 children. The hourly rate is paid to the Sitter directly. The hourly rate varies depending on the Sitter, the number of children (including playdates), and additional requests. The hourly rate will always be clearly stated in your confirmation.

Yes; this arrangement is determined individually for each family and Sitter. The hourly rate can change depending on what your needs are for your kids and other chores you might request (cleaning, laundry, extensive cooking, phone calls, etc).
